Sharon King, 57, of Sanford, left us peacefully on February 2, 2025 surrounded by friends and family. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Sharon or “Shaz” will always be remembered for her kindness and willingness to help those in trouble, even strangers. Sharon was born on April 23, 1967, in Salem, Massachusetts to Leonard and Shirley Robichau. Sharon married the love of her life, James King, in 2001 and they shared a life of joy and happiness until his death. She was preceded in death by her husband James, father Leonard and brother Allen. Sharon is survived by her mother Shirley; sister Natalie; son David and his wife Sarah; daughter Lisa and Mike and four grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends.

Susan Frances Elizabeth Gonneville Nichols, 74, of Sanford, unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2025. Susan was born in Saco on November 14, 1950, to Elizabeth “Betty” (Petite) and Roger Gonneville. She attended school and graduated from Biddeford High School in June of 1970. It was there where she met the love of her life, James “Jim” Nichols. They were married at St. Mary’s Church on October 10, 1970, and began to start their family. Susan loved crafts, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and playing cribbage. Her favorite activities were coloring on her cell phone and late-night talks with her bestie, Val. Those left to mourn Susan’s death are her husband, Jim, son Rodney “Rod,” daughter Angela “Angie” Prive (Ron), and grandson Dakota. She is also survived by her sisters Diane Belanger (Leo) and Betsey Watson (Dave), brother Rick Gonneville (Diane), and many loving nieces and nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her parents and younger brother, David Gonneville. A Celebration of Life potluck will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Massabesic Lions Club Den in Waterboro. https://bibbersautumngreen.com

Michael M. Cozzone

Michael M. Cozzone, 81, of Sanford, died peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2025, in Kennebunk. He was born in Methuen, Massachusetts on October 30, 1943, the son of Guido and Angelina (Lombardi) Cozzone. He grew up in Lawrence, Massachusetts and graduated from Lawrence High School. He worked at several jobs over the years but eventually settled into a job in the computer room at Arlington Trust. He remained there until his health forced his retirement in 1992. In 2001, Michael moved to Maine and lived with his son, Michael, Jr. for several years. Most recently, Michael lived at the Maples in Sanford. Michael enjoyed going out to eat, car shows, fishing, time with his family, movies and his beloved Boston sports teams. Mike was predeceased by his twin sister, Anna Christie and his former wife and good friend, Evelyn Adams. He is survived by his son, Michael Cozzone, Jr.; his daughter, Annmarie Baker; his grandchildren, Brandon and Gabriella as well several nieces and nephews. A time to remember and celebrate Mike’s life will be held at the Carll-Heald and Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street in Springvale on Saturday, February 22 at 1:00 pm.
