Hosts do not need to provide transportation for the actors. In return, hosts receive free season passes to the theater, a special pre-show happy hour, and a gift box of homemade Hackmatack goodies. Auction and event help to support Habitat for Humanity homes: Bidding opened this week for “Framing the Future,” the online auction to benefit Habitat for Humanity York County. Auction items include a week in the Bahamas, skydiving, theater tickets, a museum membership, one-night stays at a number of local inns, and many gift cards. To submit bids, go here.

The auction culminates with an event on June 5, 5:30 pm, at Eldredge Lumber, 1787 Main St., featuring food provided by Above & Beyond Catering and music by Lisa, Jim and Byon band. Tickets are $50 for an individual and $75 for a family. To buy tickets, go here.
