Ricker saw smoke coming from the truck after turning onto Route 111 from Limerick Road and quickly pulled over. Shortly after, the vehicle was engulfed in flames. Fire departments from Arundel, Goodwins Mills and Biddeford responded. Alfred Road was closed for an extended period until Ray’s Truck Services could remove the truck. There were no injuries reported, just a lot of detours for rush hour traffic.
