RAYMOND, N.H. — Two people were injured and dozens displaced in a Monday morning fire in a three-story apartment building in Raymond.
Fire officials said they believe the fire started on an outside balcony in the rear of the building on Route 27, but they don’t yet know the cause of the fire.
Firefighters were called to the fire just before 4:30 a.m., but officials said it’s possible the fire started much earlier.
“We had one occupant that says they smelled plastic burning around 2 o’clock,” said Deputy Fire Chief Gerry Gallant.
