September was another busy month for permits in Sanford and Springvale, with a total of 124 permits issued for everything from electrical and plumbing to alterations, decks, solar projects and certificates of occupancy.
One commercial certificate of occupancy was issued for home occupation for Food Sovereignty Bakery at 229 Cottage St.
Six commercial certificates of occupancy were issued:
489 Main St., Springvale – Hammer & Stain (DIY arts & crafts)
312 Cottage St. – Signature Aesthetics (day spa)
9 Renaissance Way – Everglades (adult use & cultivation)
446 Main St., Springvale – Addy’s (restaurant)
351 Alfred Rd. – Black Dog Offroad and Auto
25 Riverside Ave. – Calvary Baptist Academy
One new commercial building permit was issued for 12 Presidential Lane, Sanford, for an office building and two hangars.
Two new single-family residential building permits were issued for 52 Fairview Drive and Sacapee Road, Springvale, along with three certificates of occupancy for new single-family homes at 1 Beaver Hill, Springvale, 516 Oak St. and 4 Bedrock Drive, and one 12-unit apartment at 933 Main St.
