Beware of Netflix Account Scam

The “Netflix Payment Failed” email scam tricks users into believing there’s an issue with their Netflix billing. The email may say something like, “We’re unable to process your latest payment” and tell you to update within 24 hours to avoid service interruption. It typically includes a large button that reads “Update Payment” or “Reactivate Account.”
Instead of leading you to Netflix’s official site, it directs users to a counterfeit website designed to look identical to the real Netflix login page. When users enter their credentials here, those details go straight to the scammers. Some may even be prompted to re-enter payment information, including full credit card numbers, CVV codes, and billing addresses.
Once you submit the information, the attackers possess your Netflix login and your financial information. From there, they can change your Netflix password, sell your credentials on the dark web, use your credit card and attempt to use the same login credentials on other platforms.
