October was another busy month with 123 permits issued by the Sanford Code Enforcement Office.
Certificates of occupancy were issued for eight new single-family residences: at 37 Cottage St., 29 Lentago Lane, 3 Beaver Hill Road, 6 & 8 Bedrock Drive, 8 Bougie Lane, 2 Kirk St., 282 Sunset Road, 6 Rock Pond Road and Hanson Ridge Road, where Sanford Regional Technical Center students built a single-family residence.
Five commercial certificates of occupancy were issued:
- 13 Washington St., Moe’s Italian Sandwiches
- 456 Main St., Vital Essence Therapeutic Massage
- 1209 Main St., Center for Grieving Children
- 1005 Main St., Green Tea Restaurant
- 114 Emery St., Head Start Program – YCCAC
There were also two certificates of occupancy for home occupation, at 32 Cottage St., a home office for Mighty Tidy Cleaning, and at 16 Mill St., Rest in Pieces, which will clean, sort, store and pack Legos for sale.
