Lucille M. Camire, 93, of Sanford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, at Pinnacle Health and Rehabilitation in Sanford, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family.
Born in Sanford to Ephrem and Marie Louise (Gouin) Morin, Lucille grew up in her beloved hometown and attended local schools. She married the love of her life, Lucien P. Camire, in 1950, and they shared 59 beautiful years of marriage, raising six children and building a home filled with faith, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
Throughout her working life, Lucille held several jobs, including many years at Universal Shoe and later she joined Gene’s Bakery, where she became affectionately known as the “happy dishwasher.” Her cheerful spirit, warm smile and kind heart endeared her to all who worked alongside her.
Lucille’s hands were rarely still. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and crocheting, creating cherished handmade gifts for the people she loved. A talented and dedicated cook, Lucille took great joy in preparing meals for her family. She was a devout Catholic and longtime communicant of St. Ignatius Parish and then St. Thérèse of Lisieux Parish. Her faith guided her life and was reflected in her generosity, compassion, and gentle presence. At Pinnacle, she was lovingly referred to as “Memere,” a name that spoke not only to her role within her family but also to the affection and care she showed to others.
Lucille was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lucien P. Camire; her daughter, Rachel L. Martin; her parents; and her siblings, Irene Lacombe and Henry Morin. She is survived by five children: Pauline (Daniel) Smith, Nancy (Paul Jr.) Gendreau, Gerard (Heidi) Camire, Diane (Mark) Therrien and Rosie (Steven) Brown; also 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a large extended family.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at St. Thérèse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church, and interment followed at St. Ignatius Cemetery.

Paul Kenneth Dauteuil, 52, passed away Nov. 24, 2025. He was born June 23, 1973, in Sanford to John and Arlene (Burbank) Dauteuil.
Paul attended Sanford schools. He was known as very outgoing and an over-the-top jokester. He enjoyed working on cars with his brother, snowmobiling and singing karaoke.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene Copp; father, John Dauteuil; stepfather, Thomas Copp; and four grandchildren. He is survived by his fiancé, Christine Pommenville; daughter, Sonya-Patricia (Brian) Vance; sons, Tyler Dauteuil and Braydon Dauteuil; a brother Michael (Kimberly) Dauteuil; two grandchildren and a large extended family. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Germaine “Gerry” Doiron, 89, of Sanford, passed away peacefully on Nov. 18, 2025, at The Lodges Assisted Living in Springvale, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 3, 1936, to Antoine and Antoinette Legere. Germaine was a lifelong resident of Sanford. She attended local schools and graduated from St. Ignatius High School with the Class of 1954.
A devout Catholic, Gerry was a dedicated communicant of Holy Family Church/St Therese of Lisieux Parish, where her faith guided her throughout her life. She devoted herself to being a full-time mother, embracing all the joy, work, and love that role brings. For many years, she also shared her time and talents as an exercise instructor in many local elder care facilities, where she brought energy and encouragement to others.
Germaine will be remembered for her love, patience, pride in her family, and her timeless sense of style and beauty. She touched many lives with her warmth and grace, and she will be dearly missed.
She is predeceased by her parents and her brother Armand Legere. Survivors include her husband of 68 years Roger Doiron; her children, Linda (Scott) Coombs, Karen (Dean) Robinson, Mark (Michele) Doiron, Kenneth (Kari) Doiron; her eight grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and siblings Robert Legere, Rachel Leclerc, Simone Forest and Monique Cote.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Nov. 25 at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church and interment followed at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Doris H. Martineau, 92, of Sanford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford, surrounded by the love of her family.
Doris was born in Sanford on Oct. 2, 1933, to Alberic and Rachel (Lavigne) Desrochers. She grew up in her beloved hometown and attended local schools, graduating from St. Ignatius High School. Doris held several jobs over the years, including many devoted years at the Medical Arts Building in Springvale. She later worked at WASCO, where she remained until her well-earned retirement.
Doris married the love of her life, Donald Martineau, in 1956, and together they raised four daughters. They shared nearly 57 years of marriage until Donald’s passing in 2013.
She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a true matriarch whose warmth and steady presence shaped the lives of everyone around her. A woman of many talents, she had a deep and joyful relationship with music. She played the accordion and piano, and she loved to sing. Doris brought her enthusiasm for the arts to the community as a member of the Nasson Community Theater in Springvale. She also enjoyed line dancing and volunteered her time at Books Revisited in Sanford.
Family was at the center of everything Doris did. She treasured her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and delighted in every moment she spent with them. Her kindness, hospitality, and genuine love for people were at the core of who she was.
Doris was predeceased by her husband, Donald Martineau, and her brother, Raymond Desrochers. She is survived by her four daughters: Lorina (Stephen) Brewer, Gail (Gary) Tanguay, Carol (John) McKeage and Brenda (Walter) Eastman; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; her sisters Lucille Lachance and Jacqueline Tapscott; her sister-in-law Marlene Lavalley, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Saturday, Nov. 29 followed by a memorial luncheon.
