Sanford ended the year with 70 permits issued in December.
Commercial certificates of occupancy were issued to Levesque’s Excavating / General Contractor at 402 Lebanon St, and Community Social Services at 312 Cottage St.
Residential certificates of occupancy were issued for two-family units at 1 Park St., along with 985 and 987 Main St. For single-family units, certificates were issued at 5 Bedrock Drive, 8 Goodrich Ave., and a temporary certificate for 701 New Dam Road.
For the final months of 2025, a number of families took advantage of the solar installation tax credits that ended on Dec.31, with seven solar permits issued in October, nine in November, and four in December.
Home occupation certificates of occupancy were issued at 37 Kent St. for Sparkle Cleaning Service, office and 24 Walkers Ridge Road for Gotta Be Frank, office.
