What's Happening?
WHAT EXACTLY IS HAPPENING TO SEACOAST OLDIES?
Beginning July 24, Seacoast Oldies will stop broadcasting on 92.1 and 97.1, as those channels are being sold to a different company that will have different programming. In most of York County Maine, Seacoast Oldies will be heard on 1220 AM and 104.3 FM. The format known as The Legends on that channel, will be replaced with Seacoast Oldies. There will be NO changes to our online streaming, mobile app or smart speaker devices.
WILL I BE ABLE TO HEAR SEACOAST OLDIES IN MY CAR?
If you drive in the Maine communities of Wells, Sanford, Lebanon, Acton, Shapleigh, Alfred, Waterboro, Lyman, Dayton, Biddeford, Arundel, Kennebunk, Kennebunkport or towns in that area, you will get Seacoast Oldies on 104.3 FM beginning on July 24. We will also be available on 1220 AM.
CAN I LISTEN THE SEACOAST OLDIES ONLINE STREAM IN MY CAR?
If you have the capability of hearing online stations in your car, you can hear Seacoast Oldies through our mobile app or online at Seacoast Oldies dot com. If your car is Bluetooth capable, you can use our mobile app in your car.
WHAT ABOUT THE PROGRAMMING THAT IS ON 104.3 FM NOW?
Most of the music on “The Legends” at 104.3 FM is also played on Seacoast Oldies. Some of the local York County programming will be part of Seacoast Oldies including local news, local weather, local sports reports, Sanford Mainers baseball, high school football and more.
WHEN IS THIS OFFICIALLY HAPPENING?
The changes are scheduled for Monday, July 24.
