Come fly a kite with Three Rivers Land Trust at one of the most scenic spots in Acton! Bring your own kite or borrow one of ours, and enjoy a relaxed fall day at Romac Orchard and Goat Hill. Members of the Nor’Easters Kite Club will join us to help fill the sky with kites and lend a hand to new kite flyers.
Make a day of it with apple picking, hayrides, the corn maze, and story time with the Acton Public Library. Bring a picnic or pick up some fall treats at the orchard. You can also follow the accessible Goat Hill Trail to the summit for sweeping views of the surrounding lakes and orchards.
Kite flying is for everyone, whether you’re an experienced flyer or have never flown a kite before. The event is free and open to all ages. We’ll have kites available to share and some to give away while supplies last.
