Art Hanging-Water District Office

The Sanford Water District is generously making wall space available in its customer lobby for local artists to display their work.

Display space is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Artwork must be ready to hang using the STAS hanging system installed at the office. Exhibits will generally remain on display for three to four months before being rotated to provide opportunities for additional artists. We would appreciate you reaching out via messenger if you plan to come so we have an idea of how many artists will be participating.

There is no fee to participate, and the Sanford Water District does not charge a commission on artwork sales. If a visitor is interested in purchasing a piece, the Water District will connect the buyer directly with the artist so they can complete the sale.

Because this is a public customer entrance, artists are asked to use good judgment when selecting artwork for display and to ensure it is appropriate for visitors of all ages.
