Holiday Pops! Strafford Wind Symphony @ The Performing Arts Center

The Strafford Wind Symphony returns to Sanford Performing Arts Center for its annual Holiday Pops concert on Sunday, Nov. 29, at 3 p.m., bringing 55 musicians together for an afternoon filled with Christmas classics, seasonal favorites and plenty of holiday cheer.

A favorite throughout Southern Maine and the Seacoast, the Strafford Wind Symphony has become known for its exceptional musicianship and energetic performances. Its annual Holiday Pops concert has also become a beloved tradition at SPAC, offering families and friends an opportunity to gather and celebrate the start of the holiday season together.

This year’s concert will feature a festive mix of familiar Christmas music, joyful seasonal selections and dazzling arrangements designed to showcase the full sound and versatility of the 55-member ensemble.

And audiences won’t have to leave all the music-making to the professionals. One of the concert’s most popular traditions — the audience holiday sing-along — will once again invite everyone in the theater to add their voices to the celebration.
