This New Year’s Eve, break out the leg warmers, tease up your hair and get ready to party like it’s 1985! Sanford Performing Arts Center is ringing in 2027 with Jessie’s Girl: Back to the Eighties, the ultimate New Year’s Eve celebration, starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31.
Jessie’s Girl is America’s premier ’80s tribute act, packing theaters across North America with a high-energy show loaded with powerhouse vocals, dazzling costumes and an all-star band of veteran New York City musicians.
From Journey and Bon Jovi to Madonna, Prince, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Cyndi Lauper, Def Leppard, Duran Duran, Pat Benatar, The Go-Go’s and more, Back to the Eighties delivers hit after hit from the decade that knew how to have a good time. Come dressed in your best ’80s attire, sing along to your favorites and dance your way into the New Year.
And because it’s New Year’s Eve, SPAC is bringing the celebration, too! The evening will wrap up with a special countdown around 9 p.m., complete with confetti, cheers and plenty of party atmosphere. You’ll get all the excitement of ringing in 2027 — and still have plenty of time to be home in your pajamas before midnight. Because, hey, we’re not as young as we were in the ’80s!
