Walk with a Forester

Join York County Soil & Water Conservation District for a Walk with a Forester on September 30th 5pm at the (SEDF) Sid Emery Demonstration Forest to learn how to manage your woodlot for firewood, habitat, and invasives. Topics include tree ID, invasive forest pests threatening our trees, invasive plant species, managing for wildlife habitat, and learn about programs such as forest management planning, Maine Tree Farm registration, harvest options and other topics to help you reach your goals. Free and open to the public.
