Port Broadcasting, LLC (“Port Broadcasting,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) owns and operates 104.3 The Goat, its associated radio stations, websites, mobile applications, streaming services, social media pages, contests, promotions, and other digital services collectively referred to as the “Services.”

We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains:

What information we collect;
How we use that information;
When we may share it;
The choices available to you; and
How you can contact us about your information.

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

This policy does not apply to websites, applications, platforms, or services operated by third parties, even when they are linked to or integrated with our Services.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with our Services, we may collect the following categories of information.

Information You Provide

You may voluntarily provide information such as:

Email address;
Mailing address;
Telephone number;
Date of birth or age;
Account username and password;
Contest, sweepstakes, survey, or promotion entries;
Messages, requests, comments, photos, videos, audio, or other submissions;

You are not required to provide personal information unless it is necessary to use a particular feature, enter a promotion, create an account, or receive a requested service.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use our Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

App version;
Pages, features, or content viewed;
Links and buttons selected;

Streaming activity and listening-session information;

Our mobile applications may also collect information about app usage, device settings, local storage, and interactions with features such as the phone dialer, camera, media library, or notifications—but only when required for a feature and permitted by your device settings.

Mobile-app stores and operating-system providers;

3. Location Information

With your permission, our Services may collect precise or approximate location information from your device. This information may be used to provide features such as local weather, emergency alerts, geographically relevant content, station information, or localized advertising.

Location information may be processed by vendors that provide location-based features, analytics, advertising, or technical support.

You can disable location access through your device or application settings. Some location-dependent features may not function properly after location access is disabled.

4. Comments and Public Submissions

When visitors leave comments or make other public submissions, we may collect the information entered into the form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser information for security and spam detection.

An anonymized value created from an email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine whether the commenter uses that service. The Automattic Privacy Policy governs Gravatar’s processing.

Once approved, a comment, username, profile image, or other information submitted for public display may be visible to other users. Do not submit information that you do not want made public.

5. Uploaded Media

If you upload images or other files, be aware that those files may contain embedded metadata, including GPS location data. Other users may be able to download the files and extract that information.

We recommend removing sensitive metadata before uploading media.

We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, web beacons, software development kits, local storage, and similar technologies.

Service Providers

We may provide information to vendors that perform services for us, including website hosting, audio streaming, mobile-app operation, analytics, advertising, email delivery, contest administration, payment processing, customer support, data storage, fraud prevention, and security.

These providers are expected to process personal information only as necessary to perform the services requested from them, subject to applicable contracts and law.

Advertising and Promotional Partners

We may share information with advertisers, sponsors, advertising networks, and promotional partners when:

You enter a jointly sponsored contest or promotion;
Sharing is disclosed at the time information is collected;
It is necessary to provide or measure advertising;
You consent to the disclosure; or
The disclosure is otherwise permitted by law.

Advertising partners may independently collect information through cookies, pixels, advertising identifiers, or similar technologies.

Information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, reorganization, sale, acquisition, lease, bankruptcy, or transfer of some or all of Port Broadcasting’s assets or operations.

Aggregated or Deidentified Information

We may use and disclose aggregated, statistical, or deidentified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual.

9. Advertising and Personalized Content

Advertising helps support our free Services. We and our advertising partners may use information about your device, approximate location, browsing activity, listening activity, or interactions with content to select, deliver, and measure advertisements.

Depending on applicable law, some advertising-related disclosures may be considered “selling,” “sharing,” or the use of personal information for targeted advertising, even when no money is exchanged.

You may be able to limit personalized advertising through:

Our cookie-consent or privacy-preference tools, when available;

Digital Advertising Alliance Choices;
Network Advertising Initiative Opt Out; and
App-store or mobile-device advertising settings.

Opting out of personalized advertising does not eliminate advertisements. It generally means that advertisements will be less tailored to your inferred interests.

10. Email, Text Messages, and Notifications

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by selecting the unsubscribe link included in those messages.

You may stop promotional text messages by following the instructions provided in the message, such as replying “STOP.” Message and data rates may apply.

Mobile-app notifications and location permissions can be managed through your device settings.

We may still send non-promotional communications related to your account, contest participation, requests, transactions, security, or changes to our Services.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

Our Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites and platforms, including social networks, streaming providers, app stores, advertisers, and podcast or video services.

Port Broadcasting does not control the privacy, security, or business practices of third parties. Information provided directly to another service is governed by that service’s privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of each third-party service you use.

12. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without legally valid parental consent.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided us with personal information may contact us using the information at the end of this policy.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

Fulfill the purpose for which the information was collected;

In the preceding 12 months, the categories of personal information we may have collected include:

Approximate or precise geolocation information;

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 without the authorization required by law.

Requests may be submitted using the contact information in Section 19. If our advertising practices qualify as a sale or sharing under California law, an appropriate “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism will be made available through the applicable Service.

The updated policy will be posted with a revised effective date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through our website, mobile application, email, or another appropriate method.

Your continued use of the Services after an updated policy takes effect signifies your acknowledgment of the revised policy.
