Based on information provided at the City Council meeting, we incorrectly reported in last week’s issue that the Mayor of Sanford is limited to two 2-year terms in office. The office of Mayor is limited to three 2-year terms. Mayor Becky Brink is in her second term but has chosen not to run for reelection.
